The Insouciant Assembly ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this website and members of our community. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect. When you contact us by email, we collect the information you provide — typically your name and email address. When you visit this website, we may collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services.

How we use your information. We use contact information solely to respond to your enquiries and, if you request it, to connect you with a local Circle. We do not share, sell, or distribute your personal information to third parties. Web server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days for security purposes and are then deleted.

Circle membership. The Assembly does not maintain a centralised membership register. Individual Circles may keep contact lists for the purpose of communicating meeting times and locations; these are maintained locally by Stewards and are not shared with the Assembly or with other Circles without your express consent.

Financial contributions. If you make a voluntary financial contribution through our website, your payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store credit card or bank account details. We retain a record of contributions for accounting purposes as required by UK charity law.

Your rights. You may request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
