The Settling

The doorway through which you enter every practice. A brief exercise for arriving in the body.

Sit comfortably with your spine straight but not rigid. Rest your hands on your thighs. Close your eyes.

Take three slow, deliberate breaths. With each exhalation, release tension: first shoulders and neck, then belly and lower back, then legs and feet.

Sit quietly. Notice the quality of your body — heavy or light, warm or cool, tense or soft. There is no correct answer.

Rest here for one to two minutes. You are simply arriving.

Beginner 10 minutes

The Circle of Ease

A foundational working for establishing a protected space — training visualisation, breath-direction, and intentional speech.

Perform the Settling. Light a candle before you. Watch the flame and let your breathing slow.

Stand and face any direction that feels natural. Extend the index and middle fingers of your dominant hand.

Turn slowly clockwise in a full circle, tracing a line of light at waist height. Visualise a thin, luminous boundary of soft blue-white light forming around you.

Speak aloud: "By my attention and by the Current that moves through all things, I mark this boundary. Within this circle, only ease may dwell."

Sit within the circle. With each inhalation, see it brighten. With each exhalation, see it grow more solid.

When finished, turn counter-clockwise, visualising the light dissolving. Say: "The circle is open but unbroken. I carry its ease with me."

Beginner–Intermediate 20–30 minutes

The Threefold Ascent

The central practice — a visualisation sequence for raising the Current from Root to Heart to Crown.

Three Breaths of Arrival: Inhale for 4, hold for 2, exhale for 6. Repeat three times, becoming heavier and more grounded.

Stage One — Kindle the Root: Visualise a small sphere of deep red light at the base of your spine. Breathe into it for 10–12 breaths. Add the sound UHM for 5–8 breaths.

Stage Two — Open the Heart: Visualise a green sphere at the centre of your chest. Draw red-gold light upward from the Root. Breathe for 10–12 breaths. Add the sound AHH for 5–8 breaths.

Stage Three — Illuminate the Crown: Visualise a violet sphere at the top of your head. Draw light upward through all three points. Add the sound EEE. See cascading light falling gently around you.

Rest in the luminous architecture for 5–10 minutes. Do not force anything. Practise insouciance — the art of allowing.

The Return: Reverse the flow. Crown to Heart to Root. Ground thoroughly — stamp feet, eat something, touch the earth.

Advanced 30–45 minutes

The Sevenfold Circuit

The full expression of the practice — a complete ascending and descending journey through all seven Nodes.

Ascend through each Node in sequence: Root (UHM), Wellspring (OOH), Furnace (OHH), Heart (AHH), Voice (AYY), Lantern (AYE), Crown (EEE). 10 breaths + 5 with sound at each Node.

Hold at Heart for two minutes — the midpoint where upper and lower systems integrate.

Rest at the Crown for 5–10 minutes in full illumination.

Descend: Crown → Lantern → Voice → Heart (pause 2 min) → Furnace → Wellspring → Root.

The Sealing: A single pulse of red light through all seven Nodes simultaneously, then returning to Root.

Ground with five deep breaths. Palms flat on earth. Eat and drink. Do not perform more than once per day.
